SPARK speaker series!

Green Drinks is excited to announce our “SPARK Speaker Series”, where small groups discuss BIG ideas… If you prefer networking in a more intimate setting and are passionate about particular issues or topics, our Green Drinks “SPARK Series” is perfect for you!

The format is one where we gather in a smaller group, everyone gets a chance to introduce themselves then our speaker begins with the featured topic and speaks on that for 15-30 min followed by lively, hearty, open discussions around that topic – inviting various opinions, points of view, challenges, experiences into play and sparking an intelligent and interesting conversation.  We begin and end with complimentary wine and snacks.  Our series is hosted by Paul E. McGinniss of The New York Green Advocate.  Paul has interviewed a stellar array of change makers including Sylvia Earle, Dean Kamen, Ray Kurzweil, Fabien Cousteau and Josh Fox. He is a featured contributor to EcoWatch.
Paul has helped to organize many environmental events including 7 Nights of Awareness for the December, 2011 NYC premier of the documentary film “The Big Fix.”

On Tuesday July 23, dive deep into the question of health with Dr. Micheal Finkelstein as our featured speaker at our SPARK Speaker Series. What is a healthy state? Do you feel energized or empowered by nature? Are all your senses acute? What would you do with your life if your health were completely restored?

Integrative medicine pioneer, Michael Finkelstein, M.D., will lead an interactive, introspective discussion held at The Moderns, exploring the questions that guide us to achieving extraordinary health. If you have your own questions that you’d like answered at the event, you can tweet them in advance to @SkillfulDoctor.

Dr. Finkelstein is the former Senior Vice President for Medical Affairs and Chief of the Departments of Medicine and Integrative Medicine at Northern Westchester Hospital in Mount Kisco, New York.
