When regulators banned a toxic “flame retardant” chemical that was linked to lower IQ and reproductive harm – the chemical industry replaced it with new chemicals linked to cancer and other health hazards. Studies have found that these flame retardant chemicals are found in virtually all of our bodies. Learn what you can do to end health threats in your home and office.
Michael Green is Executive Director of CEH, which he founded in 1996. As Director, he has been a leader in national efforts to protect children and families from lead and other toxic chemicals in consumer products, and from illnesses related to pollution in our air, water and food. CEH is a leading advocate for comprehensive chemical policy, and has been hired by both corporations and government agencies to design policies that will protect the public from exposure to toxic chemicals.
Robin Guenther – As a principal and an expert in green healthcare design, Robin is strong advocate for linking public health, regenerative design and sustainability. Robin is particularly skilled at achieving consensus for sustainable ideas, a quality valued by clients as well as the many advocacy groups with whom she works. Her built work has helped shape healthier, more welcoming facilities for nearly every major medical institution in New York City.
Tucker Robbins is a modern furniture designer that successfully marries great design with authentic tradition. By incorporating natural and salvaged pieces in modern designs with ancient skills of traditional people, he is able to bring green living to new heights. Tucker has been designing for over 25 years.
